The AI Academy, the brainchild of Chulalongkorn University Technology Center, is designed from the best AI practices.
​In collaboration with multiple organizations, the program aims to nurture AI talent by strengthening core programming skills and providing hands-on experience. ​

​PROGRAM  STRUCTURE
2-MONTH AI INTENSIVE TRAINING
     Strengthen core programming skills by attending courses on the following topics: AI for Engineering, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Vision. Training will be led by experts in CU's Department of Computer Engineering and Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, along with self-learning through assignments and online material.

​After 2 months, the student will get the opportunity to undergo a:
​ ​
12-MONTH APPRENTICESHIP
    Undergo problem-based learning by working full-time as an AI apprentice on a real-world AI university project in either the healthcare or industry domain. There will be mentoring from experts in various fields (computer engineering, biological sciences, healthcare and industry), and a salary of up to 50K THB.

After successful completion of both phases, a 'UTC AI Academy Fellow' certificate will be rewarded

WE  OFFER  THE  CHANCE  TO:

​​MINIMUM  REQUIREMENTS

  • You are able to attend the program full-time from July 2020 to September 2021 (provisional dates)
  • Currently undertaking the last year of their Bachelor's degree, or already has a degree, in computer science, mathematics, information systems, or a related discipline
  • 1+ years (academic and/or work) experience in AI, data science, and software development
  • Experience with programming languages (i.e. Python, C++, etc.) and software/platforms such as Tableau, SQL, TensorFlow, etc. 
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable with working in a dynamic, research-oriented group
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus
  • Individuals with a healthcare degree who possess a strong background in computer science, mathematics, information systems, or related fields are encouraged to apply
